Die alten kursiven Gens der Marassi, ursprünglich aus Vicenza, wurden hier vor 1000 in verschiedene Zweige unterteilt, die, obwohl sie diesen Namen von Anfang an behielten, dann speziell mit dem des Ortes gekennzeichnet waren, an dem sie Land und Burg besaßen. so dass dieser Ortsname dann ihr richtiger Nachname wurde. Unter diesen Zweigen war der wichtigste der Marassi da Seratico oder Serego (heute Sarego), einer der Gemeinden des Bezirks Lonigo in der Provinz Vicenza. Nach alten Volkstraditionen, die auch von den beiden letzten Bibliothekaren von Bertoliana, Mons. Bortolan und Mons. Gerücht, gesammelt wurden, war ein Riprando Marassi da Seratico 936 unter den erfolgreichen Siegern der viktorianischen Ritter in Treviso bei einem dieser Turniere, für die die Die Marke Trevigiano, die dies als freudige Marke bezeichnete, und ein weiterer Marassi da Seratico befehligten zusammen mit einem Maltraversi, einem Trissino, einem Thiene und einem Vivaro die mehr als tausend Kreuzfahrer von Vicentine,
