Era de esta familia Pietro Paolo, (nacido en Novara el 8 de diciembre de 1796; fallecido en Turín el 10 de julio de 1878), de Antonio, quien, exiliado en las Indias, había prestado grandes servicios militares a Alexander Nabab de Sirdanach, en matrimonio. (1831) su hija Giorgiana Dyce Sombre (nacida en Sirdanach; fallecida en Turín, 1867). Al regresar a casa, el rey Charles Albert lo nombró coronel de genio. Más tarde se le impidió ser teniente general y el rey lo nombró su ayudante de campo. Obtuvo una medalla de oro por su valor y fue miembro del parlamento nacional en las legislaturas IV y VII.
