Juli 1878) von Antonio, der im indischen Exil, nachdem er Alexander Nabab von Sirdanach große Militärdienste geleistet hatte, geheiratet hatte (1831) seine Tochter Giorgiana Dyce Sombre (geboren in Sirdanach; verstorben in Turin, 1867). Als König Charles Albert nach Hause zurückkehrte, ernannte er ihn zum Oberst des Genies. Später wurde er daran gehindert, Generalleutnant zu werden, und vom König zum Adjutanten ernannt.
