Bonacina is a surname found throughout the north in Lazio and Sicily, Bonacini would seem typically Emilian, from Reggio and Modena, Bona, throughout the central north, Boni and typical of northern Lombardy (provinces of Como, Varese, Milan, Bergamo , Brescia), Bonì, very rare, is typically Sicilian, of Trapani and Alcamo in particular, Bono is widespread in Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy, in the provinces of Rome and Latin, in Salento, Calabria and Sicily. ", we find traces of these surnames already in 1204 in Cesena in the Convent of Santa Maria where one of the friars mentioned in a writing it is called Joanne Bono and in Verona where in 1500 it reads: "... interrogatus Dominus Julius Bonaccinus, veronensis, rector dictae ecclesiae, super primum capitulum dixit ...".
