The Blardoni are originally from Lower Ossola and have as their progenitor a Giacomo, ancestor of Bernardino, a notary and causidiate collegiate, residing in Vogogna, already the capital of that valley, father of Pietro, also a jurist, who in 1717 married in that village Giuseppa Olimpia , daughter of Carlo Vittorio, marquis of Inveruno, who, last of his family, was heir of the fiefdoms of Dairago, Inveruno and Furato, of which, with the instrument of May 16, 1652 of the chamber notary Francesco Marcantolo, he had been invested, with transmission primogenial male and for a female once in a while, Giambattista, who with diploma of Philip IV, king of Spain, of 4 August 1653, interim on 25 June of the following year, was decorated with the title of marquis of Busto Arsizio for first-born males, title that then, with diploma of the same king of 10 September 1662, moved to the fief of Inveruno and Villa Cortese. He had three consorts: Elisa Melzi d'Eril of Don Carlo, improle, Leopoldina Alemagna of Count Giuseppe, from whom he had Vittorio, who died at a young age in 1875 and Carolina Falcone, mother of the current representatives of the family, extinct for the male line.
