Ancient and very noble family whose origins are found in Sarsina, a town in Emilia-Romagna, from which it took its name. Subsequently he moved to the Bergamo area, precisely to Locatello in the Imagna Valley and here his members resided until the end of the fourteenth century. At the dawn of the tenth fifth century, the family moved to Ceneda, where its members belonged to the noble guild and the council of Ceneda.
