Ancient and very noble family whose origins are found in Sarsina, a town in Emilia-Romagna, from which it took its name. Subsequently he moved to the Bergamo area, precisely to Locatello in the Imagna Valley and here his members resided until the end of the fourteenth century. At the dawn of the tenth fifth century, the family moved to Ceneda, where its members belonged to the noble guild and the council of Ceneda. It was therefore confirmed in its nobility, with Sovereign Resolution 28 October 1823, in the person of Giovanni Battista Maria, of the late Benedetto, qu. Pietro, and Mrs. Maddalena Grempsil, widow of the late Giovanni Maria Peris, born on March 26, 1801 and of Raffaello Maria, of the late Benedetto, born on December 19, 1805. A branch passed through Serravalle, developing commercial interests on the street Cadore-Venice. Another branch still passed in the tenth century in Conegliano and from that proceeds that Simone Sarcinelli who, in 1511, found himself described in the Registers of the Noble Council of Conegliano, as "Official in the official offices". His successors, with constant progression, entered the said council, until his cessation. In 1574, moreover, the family hosted Henry III, king of France, in his home in Conegliano, who, returning from the abandoned Polish throne, went to reach that of France. On that occasion a Francesco was created knight, by the said king. This branch was confirmed in its nobility with Sovereign Resolution May 5, 1820, in the person of: Antonio Gaetano Vincenzo Sarcinelli, of the late Pietro and of the noble Mrs. Elisabetta Gonemi, born on April 23, 1774, joined in marriage, on September 26, 1796, with the noble Mrs. Elena Grimani, of the late Almoro, and of Scipione Gaetano Cattarin Sarcinelli, of the late Pietro, born on July 6, 1778,
