Rastro heráldico da família: De La Rosa
Ancient and noble Castilian family, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has spread, over the centuries, in different regions of Europe and outside Europe, particularly in Brazil. this last name, we remember: Alonso De La Rosa, Commander of the Order of Santiago; Juan Martínez de la Rosa, Auditor General of the Army in Italy; Juan De La Rosa, a famous ceramicist. With the discovery of the New World, many characters from this family went through the Atlantic. We remember another Juan De La Rosa, born in Plasencia, who set off for Perù on February 28, 1582. From a chromatic and symbolic analysis of the family crest, we can finally get some important information about the virtues associated with this last name. Green ("vert") is a symbol of victory, honor, abundance; in heraldry the Rose proves the grace, the beauty, the pristine honor, the gentleness of manners, the magnificence, the grandeur of nobility; the lily ("fleur-de-lis") represents the hope, the expectation of the good, the purity, the innocence of the soul, the renown, the benign prince and the upright judge. Not many families, even among the oldest, can boast a so valuable noble origin, the descendants of which, quite rightly, can be proud.
