Abbiamo ritrovato, di lei, molte chiare azioni in quel famoso Regno, tale famiglia è, infatti, dai genealogisti, annoverata fra le famiglie illustri della famosa città Partenopea. Il suo progenitore, nel Regno di Sicilia, fu un certo Arrigo, cavalier nobilissimo, che sotto il re Carlo predetto, fu tesoriere generale dei donativi regi, e nel 1302, fu senatore di Messina, con Bonsignor d'Anzalone, Pietro Scalesi, Thomaso Fontana, Pirrello Piervitale, e Filippo di Mauro.
