Nobility crown EncaladaTuvo su asiento este linaje en la villa de Fuente Encalada, del partido judicial de Benavente (Zamora), desde donde se extendió por Andalucía y Chile. Pedro Fernández de Fuente E. fué primer Maestre de Santiago. En la villa de Villalba del Alcor (Huelva) radicó una línea, de la que fué Isabel de E., natural de Villalba del Alcor, esposa de Alonso Arias, de la misma naturaleza, y ambos padres de Petronila de E., natural de Villalba del Alcor, que contrajo matrimonio, el 19 de Abril de 1610, con Manuel Calvo Domonte, natural de Villapalma, Alcalde de la Hermandad y Gobernador, naciendo de esta unión la descendencia apellidada Calvo de E., que alcanzó el título de Marqués de Villapalma de Encalada, concedido por Real cédula de 10 de Agosto de 1728 a don Diego Calvo de E. y Orozco, natural de Sevilla. Este caballero, que pasó a Chile, donde desempeñó altos cargos, y que casó el 21 de Abril de 1700 en Santiago de Chile con doña Catalina Chacón Cajal y Vargas, fué padre de D. Manuel Diego de E. y Chacón, natural de Santiago de Chile, Caballero de la Orden de Calatrava, en la que ingresó en 1728, y segundo Marqués de Villapalma de E., que contrajo matrimonio en Chile con doña Margarita de Recobarren y Pardo de Figueroa, naciendo de esta unión José Manuel E. y Recabarren, Caballero de Santiago y tercer Marqués de Villapalma de E.; Mercedes Calvo de E. y Recabarren, esposa de Lorenzo Blanco Cicerón, con sucesión en Chile, y Antonio Calvo de E. y Recabarren. ...
