Genestet de Chairac (éteints) à laquelle appartenaient: Charles et Gabriel Genestet, oncle et neveu, bourgeois du Puy, qui firent inscrire leurs armoires en 1696, dans d'Hozier, et portaient: d'azur, au lion d'or, lampassé de gueules, accompagné en pointe d'un croissant d'argent (Le Puy: Chapelle des Pénitents). II°. Genestet de Planhol, seigneurs de Talhac et de Planhol paroisse deRosières au XVIIIème siècle, par acquisition le 6 avril 1770 des Sahuc, représentés en 1806 par Auguste Genestet de Planhol, marié à Marguerite Cohade d'Augerolles, d'où: 1° Gustave, né en 1805, général de division de cavalerie, grand officier de la Légion d'honneur; 2° Armand, lieutenant-colonel de cavalerie, décédé en 1855; 3° Charles, lieutenant-colonel d'infanterie, décédé en 1898; 4° Henry, colonel de cavalerie, officier de la Légion d'honneur, décédé en 1880, marié à Mlle Bracerin, d'où un fils, René, néen 1861, capitaine de cuirassiers, décédé au Congo en 1891 sans posterité; 5° Constance, née en 1815, décédée en 1873, mariée à M. de Guempertz. III°. Genestet de Séneujols, marquis de St-Didier-Nérestang, barons d'Aurec, de Montbonnet, etc., issus de Vidal "forbisseur", mort après 1656. ...
