Tra i personaggi che, maggiormente, le diedero lustro, ricordiamo: Scipione, giudice straticoziale di Messina, nel 1665-66; Giuseppe, con privilegio dato a 22 marzo 1717, ottenne la concessione del titolo di barone, e fu senatore di Messina nel 1727-28; Scipione fu senatore di Messina, nel 1755-56 e rettore nobile delle Verginelle in Messina, nel 1757-58; Francesco, consultore del governo del regno di Sicilia nel 1798 e segretario di Stato di S. M. il re Ferdinando IV, fu anche supremo ministro di giustizia e dell'ecclesiastico.
