Il primo personaggio di cui abbiamo novella è il nobile Augustin, avvocato di Quimper, che nel 1529 prese in moglie Marie l'Honoré, da cui ebbe Jean, consigliere della corte presidenziale di Quimper, autore del saggio "La Ligue en Bretagne", già morto nel 1600. I suoi discendenti ebbero il titolo di Signori di Kercado, in Beuzec Cap Sizun, e di Kerdonnis, in Pontcroix. Un altro ramo della famiglia fa invece capo a Guillaume, segretario reale nel 1699, che sposò Guillemette Jocet, da cui: René, marito di Jeanne Baudran, creato cavaliere nel 1708 e padre di Pierre-Louis, geometra, membro dell'Accademia delle Scienze, di quella di Francia e di quella di Berlino.
