Nobility crown PeironTrès ancienne famille d'Annonay dont l'abbé Darnaud donne une généalogie manuscrite. On trouve son nom aussi écrit Peyron. Elle remonte à Jean Peyron, de Monteyson en Dauphiné, d'après la généalogie établie par M. Peiron, prieur de Roisey, et reproduite par le docteur Duret et l'abbé Darnaud. Claude Peyron eut sept enfants, dont entre autres: Pierre, marié, le 2 juillet 1730, à Claire Albert, et François, dont la descendance est représentée par M. Gabriel Peiron, conseiller à la Cour de Nîmes, et par M. Charles Wydor, l'éminent compositeur de musique. Claire Albert, devenue veuve, épousa le comte Pierre de Vogüé. Elle avait eu de son premier mariage un fils, Marc-Antoine Peyron, pour lequel elle acheta le château de Bayard. Marc-Antoine se fixa à Valence, où il avait épousé Louise des Jacques, dont le fils, Pierre, officier au régiment Aquitaine-Infanterie, fut porté sur la liste des émigrés à Valence. Il avait épousé Cécile-Marie Mac-Carty, comme nous l'indique son contrat de mariage. Messire Pierre Peyron de Bayard, fils de feu Antoine et de dame Louise Desjacques, son épouse, demeurant à Annonay, épousa, avant 1787, Milady Cécile-Marie Maccarty, fille de feu Milord Robert Maccarty, comte de Claucarty, en Irlande, et de dame Elisabeth Fearcheley, comtesse de Claucarty, résidant à Mézières. ...
