Un Bonifazio ed un Orlando di Pier veggonsi registrati nel catalogo dell'anno 1275, ed ascritti al collegio dei giudici instituito in quell'anno. Piccolo de' Piccolo canonico della cattedrale di Padova, fu per ordine di Eccelino III, insieme a Benedetto Araldo, decapitato ed abbruciato in mezzo al prato della Valle per aver promesso di consegnare ad Avezzuto degli Avogari, nemico del tiranno, il castello di Bovolenta nel 1239.
