Nobility crown RasalaAntica ed illustre famiglia sarda, la cui nobiltà è testimoniata dalla sua presenza nel "Nobiliario sardo", opera che raccoglie gran parte delle famiglie nobili di sardegna, ivi compresi gli stemmari appartenute a quelle famiglie che risiedevano in quelle città. Sin dal XVI secolo, ovvero da quando si hanno le prime notizie certe relative a tal casato, i membri della famiglia Rasala ebbero residenza in Alghero, ove un Giovanni Rasala, nel 1520, ottenne il cavalierato ereditario, venendo ammesso, poi, nel 1528, allo stamento militare, durante il parlamento Villanova. Anche successivamente, d'altronde, la famiglia sempre riuscì a distinguersi, grazie ali elevati personaggi, a cui diede i natali. Tra questi, ricordiamo: Antonio, vissuto nel secolo XVII, distintosi nella carriera militare, intrapresa, già da giovinetto, sotto le fila del principe Filiberto di Savoia; P.
