Albertino, console del Comune di Treviso nel 1216, ebbe l'incarico di riformare gli Statuti della città; Giove suo figlio nel 1223 era capitano della milizia all'assedio di Conegliano e vi rimase prigioniero; un altro Giove nel 1270 fu uno dei riformatori dei patrii statuti. Un Giovanni, che fu podestà di Conegliano, nel 1300 cangiò il proprio nome in quello di Menegaldo confermato poi da' suoi discendenti. Un Menegoldo proavo di Giovanni era stato podestà di Vicenza nel 1184.
