Nobility crown Rubin De CervinFamiglia oriunda da S. Pierre d'Albigny venuta poi a Torino. Claudio ebbe per figli Luigi Francesco e Basilio, il quale ultimo, compromesso politico nel 1834 per la spedizione di Savoia, venne condannato in contumacia alla morte. Luigi Francesco (dec. Torino 17 febbraio 1860), che fu intendente generale, e deputato di Evian nella V legislatura, venne creato barone il 6 agosto 1830. Sposò Francesca Giorgina De Cervin e i figli Augusta, Carlo, Maria e Giuseppe, nati da queste nozze furono autorizzati ad aggiungere con R.D. 11 sett. 1858 il cognome materno. Carlo (n, Annecy 16 giugno 1819, dec. Torino il 24 nov. 1880), che fu colonnello (1862), optò nel 1860 per la nazionalità italiana. Furono, fra gli altri, suoi figli Ernesto e Gustavo. Quest'ultimo il quale nacque a Ferrara il 2 marzo 1865, fu generale di cavalleria, e morì eroicamente in combattimento il 29 ottobre ...
