Nobility crown SalvagnaAntica famiglia mantovana nota dal 1380, infeudata con titolo comitale nel 1662. Il ramo attualmente ancora fiorente nelle femmine fu riconosciuto nobile con Sovrana Risoluzione Austriaca 6 maggio 1821 nella persona di Francesco che aveva servito il governo italico come prefetto di dipartimento ed aveva conseguito personalmente il titolo napoleonico di barone. Allo stesso Francesco l'imperatore d'Austria, Francesco I, con Sovrana Risoluzione 15 febbraio 1830 rinnovò in forma ereditaria il titolo di barone elevandolo al rango di barone dell'I. A. (b. c.). Sono iscritti nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare coi titoli suddetti: Giuseppe, nato Venezia, 16 agosto 1843, di Emilio, di Francesco e di Alban d. co. Albrizzi, sposato 9 febbraio 1880 con Antonietta da Persico, da cui: a) Alba, nata Vedelago, 1 dicembre 1882; b) Maria Francesca, nata Firenze, 26 maggio 1892; c) Marina, nata Firenze, 7 novembre 1895 in conte Andrea Valmarana.
