Jean vivait en 1310; Perrotin et Robinet en 1378. Pierre seigneur de Lambres, l'un des chevaliers de la suite du duc de Nemours, vicomte de Carlat, fut inscrit à l'armorial de 1450. Gilbert Tersca de Ligonnes, fils de Pierre seigneur de Lambres, et de Villate de Jonchères, épousa le 4 avril 1530 Madeline de Tournon-la-Chaize (fille de feu Jacques coseigneur de Vals-le-Chastel, et d'Antonia de Châteauneuf-Rochebonne). Parmi les illustrations de cette maison on signale: six chanoines-comtes de Brioude (1370-1590); un chambellan de Gilbert de Bourbon-Montpensier (1494). A ce nom, on attribue un signe distinctif de noblesse représenté par le blason que l'on a reproduit ci-contre et qui confirme aussi à travers ses emblêmes, au point de vue historique et héraldique la certitude d'une valeur remarquable.
