D'azzurro, alla cometa d'oro caricata di un bisante-torta inquartato in decusse d'argento e di rosso.

Blasone della famiglia Bonvisi o Buonvisi, ; fonte: "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani" custodita presso l'archivio di stato di Firenze fasc.5272. Note: Nello stemma del ramo francese della famiglia (cfr. L'Hermite 1661), il bisante-torta è diventato uno scudetto inquartato decussato d'argento e di rosso; probabilmente anche il bisante-torta è da identificare come uno scudetto rotondo e come riferimento alla famiglia «da Montecatini» (cfr. fasc. 2870): il duca di Parma Ferdinando di Borbone concesse nel 1791 il titolo marchionale, già concesso dal duca Filippo a Francesco Buonvisi nel 1763, ai figli di Caterina Bonvisi, ultima della famiglia, sposata Montecatini.
