Heraldic Information (Italiano)

D'azzurro, al cane passante rivoltato d'oro sulla montagna al naturale uscente dalla punta, sormontato da un sole d'oro posto nel cantone destro del capo, e da tre stelle a otto (o sei) punte dello stesso, poste nel cantone sinistro.

Stemma della famiglia Brichieri in Firenze; fonte: "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani" custodita presso l'archivio di stato di Firenze fasc.977. Note: Famiglia originaria di Finale Ligure. In alcuni esemplari questo stemma è completamente rivoltato. Questo è lo stemma Brichieri, ma il fascicolo della Deputazione si riferisce alla famiglia «Brichieri Colombi», la quale tuttavia sembra avere adottato solo lo stemma suddetto, tralasciando quello Colombi (d'azzurro, a tre colombe posate d'argento, 1.2): Giovanni Bernardo Brichieri, nato nel 1682, unì il cognome dell'ava materna Maria Caterina Colombi, per testamento di Pietro Colombi. Il Crollalanza scrive che i Bricheri di Firenze innalzano la medesima arme. Le tre stelle nel disegno della raccolta appaiono male ordinate.
