D'oro, al grifone di nero accompagnato in capo da tre palle ordinate fra i quattro pendenti di un lambello di rosso, la palla centrale d'azzurro, caricata di tre gigli d'oro, 1.2, e le due laterali di rosso.

Blasone della famiglia Grifoni in San Miniato, Pisa e Firenze, Santa Croce, Carro; fonte: "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani" custodita presso l'archivio di stato di Firenze fasc.2487. Note: Famiglia originaria di San Miniato. I cavalieri Michele e Gaetano di Giovanni Battista Grifoni furono ammessi alla nobiltà di San Miniato nel 1794; la famiglia fu poi ammessa al patriziato di Pisa nel 1798 e nel 1828. Il cavaliere Pietro Gaetano di Michele Grifoni, appartenente a una linea estinta nel 1796, era stato ammesso al patriziato fiorentino nel 1751, insieme al cavaliere Ugolino di Cosimo Grifoni.
