Su casa solar primitiva e infanzona estuvo en la jurisdicción de Azpéitia (Guipúzcoa), y de ese solar dimanó la casa de Murguia en la jurisdicción de Oñate. Los A. pasaron a Aragón y a las Asturias de Santillana. Son sus armas: La casa de la jurisdicción de Azpéitia: De gules, con un león rampante de plata. Estas armas las acrecentaron luego con otros dos leones de plata, poniendo los tres en triángulo.
