Nobility crown AhumadaEs tan antiguo este linaje, que tiene su origen en los romanos, según afirman autorizados tratadistas. Su casa solar primitiva estaba en las montañas de León, cerca de la villa de Aguilar de Campóo. De esta casa era Fernando de A., que se halló con Don Pelayo en la toma de Oviedo. Fué Alcaide de una torre que le quemaron los moros. Otra casa solar muy antigua, procedente de la anterior, radicó en la merindad de Antezana, en la provincia de Álava. Ramas de esos solares llevaron el apellido a otras regiones. En Málaga, Ronda, Granada y Cádiz hubo caballeros muy nobles de este linaje. Antonio de A. y Mendoza, natural de Ronda, casó con doña Catalina Vélez, de igual naturaleza, y fueron padres de Bartolomé de A. y Mendoza, nacido también en Ronda, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Inés Lussón, de la misma ciudad, de la que tuvo a Bernardino A. y Lussón, que sigue, y a Juan A. y Lussón. El primogénito, Bernardino de A. y Lussón, natural de Ronda y caballero de Santiago, en1625, efectuó su enlace con doña Juana de Céspedes y Velasco, natural de Sevilla, naciendo de esta unión Juan Bernardino de A. y Céspedes, natural de Sevilla y caballero de la Orden de Santiago, en 1670, que casó con doña María de Amaya, natural de Vejer, villa del partido judicial de Chiclana, en la provincia de Cádiz, y fueron padres de Juan A. y Amayo, natural de Vejer, Paje de Su Majestad y caballero de la Orden de Calatrava, en 1697. ...
