E tale opinione è seguita dal Confuorto nel quarto volume di giunta ai tre del de Lellis sulle famiglie nobili. Dalle iscrizioni sudette si rileva che Leone Conte della Repubblica Amalfitana nell'anno 846 era cognominato Ancorario, e che Pietro, discendente di Lenzio, era ascritto al Seggio di Nido.
