Cuenta el Rey de armas Pedro de Ascarraga, que en Navarra hay una casa fuerte y palacio de A. de nobles caballeros hijosdalgo, que sirvieron a los Reyes de Navarra, Aragón y Castilla, tomando parte en la conquista de Andalucía. Ante el Corregidor y Diputados de Vizcaya hicieron información de hidalguía y limpieza de sangre los siguientes A.: Pedro de A (1697 y 1701), José Ignacio de A. (1793) y José A. (1806).
