Nobility crown AymerichFamiglia cagliaritana di origine catalana le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XIV. Pur appartenendo alla borghesia avevano una considerevole posizione, nel 1350 un Pietro fu sindaco della comunità del castello presso il re. Nei decenni successivi la loro importanza commerciale andò aumentando, tennero una fitta rete di traffici con la Sicilia. Agli inizi del sec. XV erano tra le famiglie più influenti di Cagliari, alcuni di loro furono consiglieri del Castello; la famiglia possedeva una cappella, l'ufficio ereditario di console dei Siciliani ed aveva considerevoli traffici con le Baleari. Nel 1476 ottennero il primo attestato di nobiltà con un Giovanni che aveva combattuto in Catalogna. Nello stesso periodo Pietro, fratello di Giovanni, abile uomo d'affari seppe aumentare il aptrimonio della famiglia in modo considerevole.
