Ursprünglich aus Parma stammend, zog sie zu Beginn des 10. bis 4. Jahrhunderts nach Friaul, wo sie bei einem Giovanni, einem Arzt aus Udine, lebte, der 1347 starb. Einer ihrer Neffen, Nicolò, war Apotheker in Udine und hatte als Kinder: Antonio, Francesco, Giovanni und Bartolomeo.
