Es bestand aus einem großen quadratischen Turm mit mehreren Stockwerken und Schlupflöchern oder Fenstern, durch die die Bogenschützen oder Armbrustschützen, die ihn bewachten, die Verteidiger der Mauer mit Vorteil schlagen konnten.
