Nobility crown BaysseCette famille, fort ancienne, tomba en quenouille au milieu du XVème siècle dans celle de Perrot qui, à son tour, se fondit dans celle du Cheylard, lui apportant les seigneuries d'Aubignas et de Saint-Pons. La famille du Cheylard, comme on le verra, ajouta à ses armes celles de Baysse. Guigon, seigneur d'Aubignas, et Raymond, son frère, le 6 des ides de novembre 1253, hommagèrent Pons de Deux-Chiens et Blonde de Vertefeuille, sa femme, pour leur château et fief d'Aubignas et ce qu'ils tenaient à Aps. Catherine, alliée à Noble d'Adhémar qui figura dans cet acte de 1253, hommagea le seigneur d'Aps. Ces Adhémar prirent le surnom de Baysse. Guillaume d'Adhémar d'Albignas, l'an 1300, le jeudi après la fête de L'Annonciation, hommagea le seigneur d'Aps. Pons d'Albignas, après son frère, hommagea Giraud d'Adhémar, baron d'Aps, le 24 février 1318. Il testa en faveur de Catherine, sa mère, veuve d'Adhémar d'Aubignas, à charge de rendre l'héritage à Pons II. Pierre fut tuteur de son neveu Aimaret. Pons II mourut jeune. Aimaret, pupille de son oncle Pierre, était hors de tutelle quand, en 1389, il hommagea le baron d'Aps. Il rendit un pareil hommage en 1417 et testa le 8 juillet 1454.Louis épousa, le 25 novembre 1438, Anthonie Chapus, fille à noble Gaucher Chapus et à Catherine de Brima qui le 31 octobre 1457, fit donation de tous ses biens à son gendre et cellui-ci testa le testa le 4 juin 1524. Claudine d'Aubignas épousa, le 5 novembre 1518, noble Guillaume Pérot, de Montélimar. Blanche Pèrot dame d'Aubignas, épousa, en 1551, Claude de Cheylar. ...
