Mosén Jaime Febrer y Onofre Esquerdo citan a Guillermo B., que vino de Tolosa y sirvió al rey Jaime I "el Conquistador" en la toma de Valencia. Logró su fortuna junto al pueblo de Mirarrosa, del partido judicial de Denia, y el citado monarca premió sus servicios dándole el lugar de Tollo y la alquería de Capaimona, en el Valle de Zeta. En Murviedro (Sagunto), radicó una familia de este apellido, a la que perteneció Felipe B., natural de Murviedro, que casó con doña Beatriz Ana Corrals, natural de Cullera, y fueron padres de Felipe B., natural de Murviedro, que de su esposa, doña Gertrudis Puértolas, natural de Valencia, tuvo a Carlos B. de Cucaló y Puértolas, natural de Valencia y caballero de la Orden de Montesa, en la que ingresó el 12 de mayo de 1682. ...
