Con deliberazione dei priori ed anziani della città di Lugo in Romagna del dì 13 maggio 1762 venne dichiarato che la famiglia, residente in Sanremo, era del medesimo ceppo dei Buzzacarini fioriti in quella città e nobilitati il 1452 (1 maggio) dal pontefice Martino V.
