Note: Ramo della famiglia precedente, iniziato da Uguccione di Ranieri, marchese di Petrella nel 1117, stabilitosi a Cortona dal XIII secolo; Ugolino Bourbon fu ammesso al patriziato di Cortona nel 1758. Nel cittadinario fiorentino vengono indicati con il cognome Marchioni e dal 1678 Marchesi di Pratella. L'aquila si riferisce al ruolo di vicari imperiali ricoperto nel Medioevo. In vari esemplari la linea di partizione appare spostata: verso l'alto, tanto da delineare un campo di rosso, alla banda d'argento, con il capo dell'Impero; verso il basso, fino ad avere un campo d'oro, all'aquila di nero coronata del campo, e alla campagna di rosso caricata della banda d'argento.
