Nobility crown CaicedoAncient and noble Spanish family, of clear and ancestral virtue, originally from Vizcaya but with branches in Alava, Córdoba, Granada and in Colombia. Lope Ochoa de Caicedo, Grand Knight of the Order of Calatrava, moved to Cordoba in the fourteenth century and there got married with Doña Juana Garcia de Lo Rios. From this union two children were born. The firstborn took the name of the father, Lope de Ochoa de Caicedo, and got married with Doña Aldoza Alfonso de Valenzuela, and from this union the third Lope Ochoa de Caicedo was born. He got married with Doña Leonor Ximenez Barba, from one of the most noble lineage of conquerors of Córdoba, and had the following children: 1) Alfonso Fernández de Caicedo who died without succession; 2) Aldoza de Caicedo.
