Linaje de buenos y antiguos hijosdalgo, originarios de las montañas de Aragón. Pasaron a Cataluña, Navarra, Castilla, Murcia, Andalucía y otras regiones. En una ejecutoria de infanzonía que obtuvo Juan Gil C., mediante sentencia, en 29 de Febrero de 1640, se confirman las anteriores noticias y se dice que en la provincia de Zaragoza hubo ramas de C., en la villa de Bujaraloz, del partido judicial de Pina; en el lugar de Boquiñeni, del partido judicial de Borja, y en la villa de Alagón, del partido judicial de Almunia. Otras ramas moraron en la villa de Ariñena, provincia de Huesca, y en Sobrarbe. En la ejecutoria citada aparece que ya unos ciento veinte años antes de su fecha existían en la villa de Bujaraloz infanzones del apellido C., figurando: Juan C., natural y vecino de Bujaraloz. También moró en Alagón, y tuvo por hijos a Juan C., segundo del nombre; y Diego C. Juan C., segundo del nombre, casó en Boquiñeni con María Riballosa y fueron padres de Juan C., tercero del nombre, que de su esposa, Gracia Palacio, tuvo a Antonio C., vecino de Bujaraloz, que casó con Jaime de Abenia, de la que nació: Antonio C., segundo del nombre, ciudadano de Zaragoza y Familiar de la Inquisición, que contrajo matrimonio con María Samper, naciendo de esta unión: Juan Gil C., vecino de Bujaraloz, que fué el que ganó la repetida ejecutoria de infanzonía. Casó con Margarita Coello, en la que procreó a José Calvete, que casó con Teresa Julbe y acabó con él la línea. ...
