Nobility crown CapocciaNel 1122 si trova registrato in Cencio Camerario, Romanus Capoccius Rom. Consul. Innocenzo IV nel 1244 fece Card. Pietro Capoccio, nobile romano uomo di molta pietà e gran valore, come di lui degnamente parla il Ciaccone. Del 1350 Clemente XVI fece Cardinale Nicolò Capoccio, non dissimile al Card. Pietro nella virtù e meriti. Il Monaldeschi nel suo Diario sotto l'anno 1328, così scrive:"Sto Barone Tedesco che era restato a Roma con l'imperatore, fece costione con un Saviello, e mentre si vattagliavono vicino a Santa Maria alla Via Lata, arrivato Stefano Caffariello giovane valoroso, arrivò Cicco Capoccia e Janni Capoccia e fecero una grande baruffa e morio Muti Tedeschi". E nel 1350 dice: "Lo detto anno Joanni Caffariello fe' costione, et accise Joanni delli Judici, e se ne fuiò allo Regno, e no piezzo stava ad Albi dalli C., etc.". Da che apparisce che da quel tempo erano Sig.ri de Vassalli. ...
