PP. 29 luglio 1923, in riconoscimento di altissime eccezionali benemerenze nella guerra italo-austriaca, compiute nell'alto adriatico, dall'ufficiale di aviazione Eugenio Casagrande (Roma, 3 settembre 1892 - Venezia, 1º dicembre 1977), nel 1918, e per le quali ottenne la medaglia d'oro al valor militare.
