Godette la signoria di molti feudi e nel 1198 Briano ebbe da Corrado, vescovo di Trento, l'investitura del castello Pratalia e di Castelbarco, e nel 1218 dal vescovo Federico Vanga ottenne il consenso di erigere un palazzotto feudale in Brentonico a condizione di distruggere il castello Leone. Nel 1213, avendo i suoi figliuoli Aldrighetto ed Azzone raggiunta la maggior età, fece loro donazione del castello di S. Giorgio e dei beni tutti siti in Avio, Corona e Lusignolo. L'investitura di Castelcorno e di Serravalle fu ottenuta dal detto Aldrighetto nel 1255 dal vescovo Engone.
