Nobility crown CeratiEine alte Familie, von der Pagliarino, eine Chronistin aus Vicenza, sagt, sie stamme ursprünglich aus Faenza, von wo sie 1320 aus Gründen der Funktion in der Person von Matteo nach Vicenza gezogen wäre. Chronisten von Bassano, von geringer Zuverlässigkeit, wollen sie ursprünglich von den Orsini. In Bassano kamen sie jedoch aus Enego, einer Gemeinde auf dem Asiago-Plateau. Laut Pagliarino würden sie gegen Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts von Vicenza nach Energo ziehen.
