Nobility crown CevascoCognome diffusissimo in Genova, del quale una famiglia venne aggregata al patriziato genovese il 1745 (28 gennaio) nelle persone di Domenico Ignazio di Giovan Benedetto e Teodolinda Pavia e del figlio di Giuseppe Maria. Questa linea, la quale procedeva da un Simone della prima metà del secolo XVII, padre di Giovan Battista, che testò il 1650, si divise in due bracci, nei figli di detto di Giovan Battista, Giovan Francesco e Giovan Benedetto. Il primo (dec. 1665), diseredato dal padre, ebbe il figlio Francesco Maria, padre di Giulio Cesare, che anch'egli ebbe prole maschile. Il secondo, Giovan Benedetto (nato 1629), proseguendo la discendenza per Domenico Ignazio (n. 1691), primo iscritto nella nobiltà genovese, Giuseppe Maria (n. 1716), Giovan Battista (n. 1756), iscritto il 1774 coi fratelli Desiderio e Paolo Filippo, pervenne ai figli dell'ultimo Giovan Battista, che furono Giuseppe Maria, Giovan Vicenzo, Francesco e Giovanni Ambrogio, tutti iscritti, ed ...
