Bover dice que uno de los caballeros catalanes que pasó a la conquista de Mallorca con don Jaime I se llamó Durando C., noble del Rosellón, citado por el padre Ribera en su Milicia mercedaria. En el reparto general de tierras tocaron a este caballero los rahales Alxaris, Abolazat, Abembotaina y Abeneffa, en el término de Inca, por indiviso con Tarrasci Cavaller. Fue nombrado en 1230 para distribuir los campos ragadíos cerca de la ciudad, y en 1232, habiéndose infeudado este reino de Mallorca al infante de Portugal, fue nombrado igualmente para enseñarle los campos e instruirle del reparto que se había hecho. Pedro C. asistió también a la conquista de Mallorca, y en 1231 poseía una dilatada hacienda en el término de Palma y dentro de la porción del vizconde de Bearne. Jaime C. juró obediencia, en 1285, al Rey Don Alonso III de Aragón, como representante de la villa de Inca. En 1319, Arnaldo C. era Comendador de la Orden de la Merced en Mallorca. Bartolomé C., religioso jesuíta, murió en 22 de Julio de 1587, en olor de santidad. En 1645, Bartolomé C., Capitán de Infantería, al pasar con su compañía desde Málaga a los presidios de Cataluña, fué hecho cautivo en el cabo de Gata por tres galeotas moras y conducido a Argel, donde estuvo dieciocho meses, hasta que su familia lo rescató por 1.500 reales de a ocho.
