Nobility crown CodaIt is a highly accepted opinion that the members of the family, widespread in Piedmont and Veneto, derive from a count of Savoy, who was called C. for his long correspondence. Among the various members of this family, residing in Venice, found in 1785 in Antonio Coda mentioned in a civil case and in the deeds of the notary Giovanni Porta. A few tens of years later Giovanni Coda, husband of Mrs. Anna Vincato of Vicenza, exercised the arms trade in S. Marco. From this branch were born Pietro and Alberto, valiant followers of the Treviso fencer Francesco Bellusso, who inaugurated an arms room in S. Luca in 1835.
