Nobility crown CombladourAncienne et importante maison du Velay qui posséda en Vivarais le château de Montréal, situé dans le canton de Largentière. En 1644 Jacques, seigneur et baron de Montréal, habitant au Puy, passe une transaction avec les hommes du lieu de Montréal. Marie de Naves, dame de mIrandol, Naves, Jaujac, épousa par contrat, du 9 février 1579, messire Antoine de la Molette, seigneur de Morangiers, fils de Claude et denombreux parents et d'Anne de Lestranges épouse d'Antoine, seigneur de Salasset, tante maternelle de la fiancée. Le 4 juin 1686, baptême denoble Charles-Antoine de Montréal, fils de noble Just. Son parrain a été Monseigneur l'évêque de Lodève et sa marraine, dame Catherine de Castrevieille. En 1699, mariage de noble Hugues seigneur de Montréal, avec Madeleine Bollon, fille de Jean Bollon, juge de Saint-Agrève. Just, seigneur et baron de Montréal, fut reconnu noble par jugement du 29 août 1669, et déclarè usurpateur de noblesse par un autre jugement du 7 mars 1699. Son fils, Hugues, avait été condamné comme usurpateur, par jugement du 9 octobre 1698. L. de La Roque, dans l'Armorial du Languedoc, donne sept degrés de cette famille. Il commence sa filiation à Jacques, seigneur et baron de Montréal, marié à Catherine Maurin, et finit à Marie-Magdeleine, baronne de Montréal, mariée le 20 septembre 1731, à Claude de Fay-Solignac auquel elle apporte la terre-baronnie de Montréal. ...
