Nobility crown CondeApellido de origen gallego. Procede de Calanova, provincia de Orense, desde donde se extendió por toda España. Una rama pasó a Pravia (Asturias). Probó su nobleza en las Ordenes de Santiago y Carlos III y en la Sala de Hijosdalgo de la Real Chancillería de Valladolid, y en la Real Audiencia de Oviedo. El 15 de enero de 1877 se autorizó en España el uso del título pontificio de Marqués de Conde-Salazar a favor de Doña María del Socorro Conde Salazar. En Canarias enlazó con la Casa de Bethencourt por matrimonio de Doña Luisa C. Santos de San Pedro, con Don Juan Antonio de Bethencourt Franchi y Westerling, Coronel del Regimiento Provincial de Las Palmas, nacido y bautizado en Las Palmas el 27 de junio de 1691. Tuvo lugar la celebración el 13 de julio de 1727. Doña Luisa era hija del Oidor de la Real Audiencia de Canarias, Don Francisco C. Santos de San Pedro y de su esposa Doña Leonor de Bethencourt Viñol, tía de Don Juan Antonio. De dicho matrimonio nacieron nueve hijos. ...
