Dai volumi del celebre "Dizionario storico-blasonico delle famiglie nobili e notabili italiane estinte e fiorenti", del genealogista Giovan Battista di Crollalanza (1886), veniamo a conoscenza di altri illustri personaggi, quali: Ranieri Coppoli, distinto professor di leggi; Giovanni Coppoli, capitano del popolo in Firenze nel 1336; Francesco Coppoli, senatore di Roma nel 1427 e nel 1436; Cecilia Coppoli, badessa a Foligno, Perugia-Monteluce e Urbino, la quale da papa Sisto IV ottenne il permesso di ripristinare in alcuni monasteri la regola di santa Chiara del 1253.
