Stemma della famiglia Cresci, Tragualzi o Pegolesi in Firenze, San Giovanni, Vaio e Firenze, Santa Maria Novella, Lion rosso; fonte: "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani" custodita presso l'archivio di stato di Firenze fasc.1703. Note: Si trovano anche gli antichi cognomi «Tragualzi» e «Pegolesi». Lo stemma è anche partito con quello della famiglia Strozzi (cfr. fasc.4515) (cfr. Sepoltuario Rosselli, Migliore Cresci e Cornelia Strozzi, 1562, Roma, chiesa di S. Clemente). Nella fotografia dell'esemplare del Palazzo Pretorio di Volterra, relativa a Migliore Cresci, capitano nel 1465, gli smalti sono sicuramente diversi (sembra un trinciato), ma la foto è in b/n. Nel Palazzo Pretorio di Palaia, nello stemma riferito a Simone Cresci, podestà nel 1621-22, c'è, invece di una banda, una fascia non bordata.
