Nobility crown Curcio RubertiniThere are numerous archival sources that attest to the distant origins and noble traditions of this family and its domains in the Kingdom of Naples. A branch of the Curcio Rubertini established itself in Polla (Salerno) already at the time of the Lordship of the powerful house of the Sanseverino: from 1467 to 1552 they were "family members" of the princes of Salerno and sub-feudal lords of Polla. Antonio di Rustillano. The Roberti Domains are counted as Lords of Polla from the year 1187 to the year 1230. In 1555 the surname appears in the form Robertino which remains regular until the mid-eighteenth century, when the plural inflection Robertini or Rubertini begins to make headway, which will then prevail. The Domains Roberti or Rubertini had a noble palace in Polla, or rather, the "Palazzo" par excellence, called the "old palace", which still exists, the right of chaplaincy (1530) in the master church and private oratory, in the aforementioned residence, for the religious offices of the family (a. 1770). Among the spouses D. Antonio Curcio Rubertini and D. Luigia Rubertini, the son Giuseppe (1821-1892) ...
