Estintasi in casa Trotta, questa assunse il cognome Loffreda e Silvestro Loffredo (Trotta), di Aniello, acquistò la baronia di Cassibile, sulla quale, con privilegio dato a 4 dicembre 1797 esecutoriato a 20 gennaio 1798, ottenne il titolo di marchese, fu ascritto alla mastra nobile di Messina del 1798-1807, ...
