Pierre bachelier és droit, est dit lieutenant du bailli royal de Velay (1473-1482); Gaspard, prieur de St-Maurice de Roche en 1512 et autre Guillaume, chanoine préchantre de Notre Dame du Puy en 1520. Deux branches: I. Annet écuyer, seigneur de Vacherolles en 1521, avait épousé Jacqueline de Vacheron dame de Vacherolles, héritière de Pons vivant en 1495, d'où: 1° Claudine (1532), épouse de Balthazar de Drossanges; 2° Claude écuyer (1550-1578); allié a Françoise veuve de Guyot de Drossanges; 3° Jacques possessionné à Chalencon (1582) qui laissa une fille marié le 2 février 1586 à Jean de Mijola de Meyssignac II. Fiacre, écuyer, seigneur de Vèze, d'Artites dont il rendit hommage le 15 mai 1541 au duc d'Orléans, fut père de Pierre écuyer, coseigneur d'Artites (1543), allié à cette date à Antoinette de Bonhomme, d'où: Etienne, marié le 23 mars 1572 à Anne de Morel de la Colombe, d'où: Pierre-François, père de Pierre III, commandant pour le roi à Retournac, époux d'Isabeau de Saint-Vidal d'Orcerolles, d'où: Etienne coseigneur d'Artites, marié le 11 juin 1654 à Françoise de Tollin, maintenu le 10 juillet 1669, qui continua la descendance.
