De Aragón. El casal más antiguo que se conoce de esta familia radicaba en la villa de Ayerbe, del partido judicial de Huesca, y ocupaba el solar en que después se edificó el actual palacio de los Marqueses de Ayerbe. Algunos autores se inclinan a creer que hubo dos hermanos de este linaje que se singularizaron en la toma de Ayerbe, por lo que comenzaron a llamarle los valerosos D., concediéndoles también el Rey las armas. Dichos hermanos se llamaban Jaime y Jerónimo D. Jaime D., Señor del casal de Bolea, contrajo matrimonio en la misma villa y fué padre de Diego D., que fué Jurado de Bolea y tuvo por hijo a Gaspar D., que pasó a establecerse en el pueblo próximo de Quinzano, de donde regresó a Bolea al morir su padre y en donde permaneció hasta que se derribó al casal. Casó con doña María Marcuello y después con doña Isabel Bailin. Del primer matrimonio nació Martín D. y Marcuello, nacido en Quinzano, en donde continuó residiendo, siendo tronco de los D. del citado pueblo. Del segundo enlace fué hijo Gaspar D. y Bailin, que permaneció en Bolea y es el que se presentó a probar su infanzonía, obteniendo sentencia favorable por la Real Audiencia de Zaragoza el 21 de Agosto de 1643. ...
